Junior Java Developer

Collaborate with product managers, designers, client analysts, testers and stakeholders to design, develop and document standard product and custom client features.
Locate and resolve application defects using standard analysis and debugging techniques and tools.
Configure standard J2EE application containers.
Manage relational database concepts and technologies
Thoroughly develop, review and test code to ensure proper performance. Candidate must have experience working in high-volume user environments where scalability is a primary concern.
Review and give feedback of business specifications. Interact with business and testing teams to ensure that the product developed meets defined requirements. Ensure that the product is thoroughly tested by developing unit tests and participating in the creation of test scripts to be used by the QA test team.

Four year college degree and three or more years professional related experience working on Java SE/J2EE applications.
3+years development experience with Java EE, including JSP, Servlets, JDBC, XML
Experience with MVC frameworks like Struts, or JSF.
Experience with webservices.
Experience and Knowledge on IDEs like Eclipse, Netbeans, IntelliJ
Experience with Application servers like Tomcat, JBoss, (desirable also with Websphere and BEA weblogic)Experience interfacing with relational databases (Oracle, DB2, MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Familiarity with OOP patterns and UML Design (Rational, Visio, others)
Experience applying the above technologies to the development of n-tier, web-based applications.
Detail-oriented individual with solid verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish, and team work oriented.
